How A Custom Commission Works
The process has five stages, and you approve the important one before any material is committed. First, you tell us what you want — a sketch, a reference photograph, a description of a ring you have seen, or simply a stone size and a budget. If you have a stone already, send us its measurements.
Second, we quote and draw. Within one business day you receive a price for each metal option and a CAD render or hand drawing of the design. This stage costs you nothing.
Third, you approve. Nothing is cast until you are happy with the design. Revisions at this stage are free, and it is far cheaper to change a drawing than a finished ring, so be exacting here.
Fourth, we make it. Casting, setting, polishing and stone tightening are done by hand on our own benches. This takes 10 to 15 business days for most pieces.
Fifth, we check and ship. Every stone is tested for tightness, every surface inspected for polish marks under magnification, and the finished piece is photographed before it is packed and shipped insured with its certificate.
What We Can Make
The short answer is most things that can be made in silver, gold or platinum. Engagement rings in any style — solitaire, halo, three-stone, pavé, bezel, tension, vintage and Art Deco. Matching wedding bands, including contour bands shaped to sit flush against a specific engagement ring.
Beyond rings: earrings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets and tennis chains, all to your specification. Remounting is a service we do regularly — setting stones you already own into a new design, which is often the most cost-effective way to give inherited jewelry a second life.
We also handle resizing and repair on pieces we made ourselves. The first resize within the first year is free, and our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects including setting and solder failure.

Metals, Stones And Finishes
We work in solid 925 sterling silver, 10K, 14K and 18K gold in yellow, white and rose, and platinum. All gold is nickel-free and hallmarked. White gold is rhodium plated for a bright hard white finish, which wears over years and can be re-plated inexpensively.
Stones include D-Color VVS1 moissanite, IGI certified lab grown diamonds, and lab grown coloured gemstones — sapphire, ruby and emerald — plus accent stones for pavé and halos. If you have a stone of your own, we will set that instead.
Finishes range from high polish to satin, brushed, hammered and sandblasted. Milgrain detailing, hand-engraved patterns and inside-band engraving for text and dates are all available. Engraved and bespoke pieces are non-returnable, so please check names and dates carefully before approving.

Silver custom pieces typically start around $99 and gold pieces from roughly $290, depending on metal weight and stone size. You receive a firm quote before production, and the price does not change unless you change the design. No deposit is required to get a design and a quote.
Standard turnaround is 10 to 15 business days after design approval. Matched sets, complex pavé work and stones requiring special sourcing can take up to four weeks. If you have a fixed date, tell us before ordering — rush service is often possible and we would rather know early than disappoint you later.
To quote accurately we need: your ring size, preferred metal and finish, centre stone size and shape if you have one in mind, any reference images or sketches, and your deadline. If you do not know your ring size, we can send a free sizing guide — measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest, and if you are between sizes, choose the larger one.

Can you work from a photo of a ring I like?
Yes, reference photographs are the most common way our commissions start. We will make a piece in the same style. We will not reproduce another brand's trademarked or patented design exactly, and we will tell you if a reference raises that issue.
Can you reset stones from jewelry I already own?
Yes, remounting is a service we do regularly and it is often the most economical way to reuse inherited stones. Send photographs and the stone measurements and we will quote a new setting.
What if the finished custom piece is not what I expected?
You approve a CAD render or drawing before we cut anything, which prevents almost all surprises. If the finished piece does not match the approved design, we remake or repair it at our cost. If it matches the design but you have changed your mind, custom work cannot be returned because it cannot be resold.
